Taralye

Taralye is an internationally recognised early intervention centre that has provided inclusive oral language programs for children with a hearing loss and their families.

Taralye is located approx. 100m north of Canterbury Road, between Masons Road and Naughton Grove. ( Melway ref: 62A1 )

Taralye is committed to providing an individually tailored service, in which the needs of each child and their family is regularly assessed and monitored. Our team carry out annual communication assessments for each child enrolled in the program to inform the family and team about current and future communication goals.

Taralye strives to ensure children who are deaf will be diagnosed early and fitted with appropriate, best-quality listening devices. These children will access early intervention services and high quality learning opportunities within a family centred environment which will provide rich opportunities to develop spoken language alongside their hearing peers.

Taralye also offers a School Support Program where students can access support to continue to develop their literacy and language.

Families of children who are deaf are encouraged to access information and develop their skills to empower them to determine the best educational and social outcomes for their children.
